PHP 8.4 added to EasyApache 4

Published 22 July 2024 1 min read

As a system administrator, I would like PHP 8.4 added to EasyApache 4 so that we can take advantage of the performance improvements, new features, functionalities, and bug fixes. New functions in 8.4 include (as of 1/31/24):

Sodium: AEGIS-128L and AEGIS256 support
phpinfo: Show PHP Integer Size information
Mbstring: New mb_trim, mb_ltrim, and mb_rtrim functions
Date: New DateTime(immutable)::createFromTimestamp methods
New rounding modes in round() function
